Your watch as a heart monitor?

NCT ID NCT04493749

Summary

This study is testing how accurately a Withings smartwatch can detect atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) compared to standard hospital ECG equipment. Researchers enrolled 234 adults with atrial fibrillation to wear the watch while also having a standard ECG. The goal is to see if the watch's automatic detection feature is reliable enough for medical use.
