Phone app could slash relapse rates in opioid recovery

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone tool can help people being treated for opioid addiction avoid using illicit opioids. The app predicts a patient's risk of relapse in the next week and adjusts their medication dose accordingly. Researchers will compare relapse rates between 225 adults who use the app and those who receive standard care.
