Smartphone app aims to take the guesswork out of insulin dosing
NCT ID NCT06185296
Summary
This study is testing whether a smartphone app with special decision-support algorithms can help people with type 2 diabetes who use insulin manage their condition better. About 51 participants will be randomly assigned to either use the smart app, use a basic monitoring app, or receive their usual care for three months. The main goal is to see if the smart app helps people spend more time in their target blood sugar range and reduces dangerous highs and lows.
