Summary
This study is testing a smartphone app that uses the phone's microphone and artificial intelligence (AI) to listen for signs of aortic stenosis, a narrowing of a major heart valve. The goal is to see if this app can be a faster, more accessible screening tool compared to the current standard echocardiogram. Researchers will record heart sounds from 100 people (50 with the condition and 50 without) to train and test the AI.
