Your phone could listen for a hidden heart danger
NCT ID NCT06404437
Summary
This study is testing if a smartphone app can detect a serious heart valve condition called aortic stenosis. Researchers are using the phone's microphone to record heart sounds from 100 people, half with the condition and half without. They will use artificial intelligence to see if the app can accurately identify the disease, which could make screening faster and more accessible than current methods.
