Summary
This study tested a smartphone program designed to help low-income pregnant women in the Louisiana WIC program gain the right amount of weight during pregnancy. Over 350 women participated, using the app to track their weight and get healthy eating tips. The goal was to see if the app could help more women stay within recommended weight gain guidelines.
