Summary
This study tested a multi-step treatment plan for people with previously untreated mesothelioma. Before surgery, patients received either low-dose radiation alone or radiation plus a low-dose chemotherapy drug. After surgery, eligible patients received a combination of two immunotherapy drugs. The goal was to see if this combined approach could better activate the immune system to fight the cancer and control the disease.
