First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study compares three radiation approaches for people with 6 or more brain tumors that have spread from other cancers. The goal is to find which treatment best protects memory and thinking skills six months later. Participants will receive either focused radiation to each tumor, whole-brain radiation that spares memory areas plus a memory-protecting drug, or standard whole-brain radiation that avoids both memory centers plus the same drug.
