Summary

This study is testing a new computer tool designed to help doctors decide which surgery patients need blood prepared in advance. The goal is to make sure blood is ready for patients who truly need it during their operation, while avoiding unnecessary preparation and waste for those who don't. The tool will be tested with 50 patients at Barnes Jewish Hospital to see if it improves safety and efficiency.
