First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study compares recovery after knee replacement using a smart knee brace versus standard physical therapy. 80 adults who need a knee replacement will be randomly assigned to use the brace at home or attend outpatient therapy for six weeks. Researchers will measure knee movement, complications, and patient-reported outcomes to see if the brace works just as well.
