Smart brace aims to help spinal cord injury patients walk better
NCT ID NCT03930056
Summary
This study is testing whether a new 'smart' knee-ankle-foot brace with a built-in computer helps people with recent spinal cord injuries walk better than a standard brace. Researchers will compare the two types of braces by measuring how far and how well participants can walk, their balance, and muscle strength. The goal is to see if the advanced technology improves mobility and function during recovery.
