Robotic knee brace tested to help spinal injury patients walk better

NCT ID NCT03930056

Summary

This study is testing whether a computer-controlled knee brace helps people with spinal cord injuries walk better than traditional braces. Researchers are comparing the two approaches in 30 participants who are 3-24 months post-injury. They'll measure walking distance, speed, balance, and overall mobility during a 3-month home trial period.
