Glasses that watch you eat: can phone alerts curb overeating?

NCT ID NCT06547320

Summary

This study tested whether wearing special glasses that detect eating, combined with smartphone messages, could help people change their eating behavior. Researchers worked with 43 adults who were overweight or had obesity to see if these real-time prompts could reduce how much they ate and slow down their eating speed. The goal was to develop a tool to help with long-term weight management, not to cure obesity.
