First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests a 'smart bandage' that checks wound moisture, temperature, and acidity, then sends updates to a nurse's app. About 110 adults with hard-to-heal leg ulcers will either get the smart bandage plus usual care or usual care alone. The goal is to see if the smart bandage helps wounds heal faster and improves quality of life.
