NCT ID NCT07163195

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a 'smart bandage' that tracks wound moisture, temperature, and acidity, sending updates to a nurse's app for real-time care adjustments. About 110 adults with hard-to-heal leg ulcers will either get the smart bandage plus standard care or standard care alone. The goal is to see if the smart bandage helps ulcers heal faster and improves quality of life.
