New study tracks daily fatigue in SMA patients on standard treatment

Summary
This study aims to better understand physical tiredness in people with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) who are already taking the medication nusinersen. Researchers will use a new questionnaire called the SMA EFFORT to measure how fatigue affects daily activities. About 45 adolescents and adults will participate, and the study will track changes in fatigue before and after their regular nusinersen doses. The goal is to improve how we measure and manage fatigue in SMA.
