NCT ID NCT05378932

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looked at how trouble controlling body temperature affects sleep in people with hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia (HED), a rare condition that limits sweating. Researchers compared sleep quality, body temperature, and melatonin levels in 22 HED patients and healthy volunteers. The goal was to better understand sleep problems in HED, not to test a treatment.
