New sleep program aims to help veterans with memory loss get better rest

Summary
This study tested a special sleep therapy program, called Sleep-SMART, for older veterans who have both mild memory problems and trouble sleeping. The program adds memory-support strategies to standard insomnia therapy to help veterans learn and stick with the treatment. Thirty veterans took part, and the study focused on whether they found the program useful and easy to use.
