Not open to general applications. Only people the study team invites can take part.
Paused
Paused for now. It may or may not start again.

Not a trial. This treatment can be requested outside a study, case by case, for people who qualify.
Expanded access (paused)
Not a trial. The treatment can normally be requested outside a study, but is unavailable right now.
Expanded access (ended)
Not a trial. The treatment could once be requested outside a study, but no longer can.

Summary

This trial tests whether a structured nurse-led program can improve sleep quality in adults with chronic heart failure. Participants will receive education on healthy sleep habits and cognitive-behavioral techniques, alongside their usual care. The study measures changes in sleep quality using a standard questionnaire. If successful, this approach could offer a practical, non-drug way to enhance well-being in this population.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
A structured nurse-led program combining sleep hygiene education and cognitive-behavioral strategies
What this could lead to
If effective, this approach could offer a non-drug way to improve sleep and quality of life for people living with chronic heart failure.
What could go wrong
This is a relatively small trial, and results may not apply to all heart failure patients. The intervention's success depends on patient adherence and may not overcome severe sleep issues.
