First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested whether teaching people with type 2 diabetes how to improve their sleep habits could also help control their blood sugar. 100 adults with poor sleep quality took part. Half received sleep hygiene education and kept a sleep diary, while the other half got the training later. After three months, researchers measured changes in sleep quality and HbA1c (a blood sugar marker). The goal was to see if better sleep leads to better diabetes management.
