First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This small pilot study looked at whether gradually extending sleep time, combined with good sleep habits, is possible and helpful for people with a type of heart failure called HFpEF. Ten adults with stable heart failure and poor sleep quality wore activity trackers and kept sleep diaries for a few weeks. The goal was to see if this approach could improve sleep efficiency, quality of life, and reduce inflammation.
