First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looked at 198 people with non-metastatic gastrointestinal cancer to see if taking chemotherapy as a pill (oral) or through a vein (IV) affects sleep quality and depression. Participants completed sleep and mood questionnaires before starting chemo, at 45 days, and at 90 days. The goal is to learn how different chemo methods impact mental health, which could help doctors provide better support during treatment.
