Hidden sleep danger in schizophrenia: new tech aims to spot it early

NCT ID NCT07192042

Summary

This study aims to understand how common sleep apnea is in people hospitalized for schizophrenia and how it might affect their symptoms. Researchers will use special pads placed under patients (instead of wearable devices) to monitor breathing during sleep. The goal is to see if this easier method can help detect sleep problems sooner to improve care.
