Hidden sleep disorder linked to worse schizophrenia symptoms?
NCT ID NCT07192042
Summary
This study aims to understand how common sleep apnea is in people hospitalized for schizophrenia and whether it affects their psychiatric symptoms. Researchers will use special non-wearable pads and a simple ring device to monitor sleep breathing in 80 patients. The goal is to see if easier-to-use technology can help detect sleep problems earlier in this population.
