Scientists dig into old data to uncover how sleep therapy resets the body

NCT ID NCT07406620

Summary

This study aims to understand how standard sleep apnea treatment (CPAP therapy) changes the complexity of the body's signals, like oxygen levels and heart rate. Researchers will re-analyze data from 160 people who previously completed a trial testing custom 3D-printed CPAP masks. The goal is to learn how these signals shift after three and six months of treatment, which may help explain how the therapy works.
