First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at what happens when people with obstructive sleep apnea stop using their CPAP machine for 2 weeks. Researchers wanted to see if a specific measurement (pulse wave amplitude) could predict how stopping treatment affects blood vessel health and nerve function. The study included 65 adults who had been using CPAP for at least 6 months.
