Summary
This study aimed to understand exactly how different tongue muscles work to keep the airway open in people with obstructive sleep apnea. Researchers tested 133 adults, some using an implanted nerve stimulator device, during a sleep endoscopy procedure. The goal was to gather detailed information to help improve future treatments for this common sleep disorder.
