Can a simple message stop skin cancer before it starts?
NCT ID NCT07222995
Summary
This study aims to find out if personalized messages about skin cancer risk can encourage people to adopt better sun protection habits. Researchers will enroll 2,900 adults from community health centers who have recently tanned or gotten sunburned. Participants will receive different types of feedback about their genetic and behavioral risk and be followed for a year to see if they reduce tanning, sunburns, and improve skin checks.
