New Light-Based scanner aims to spot skin cancer more clearly
NCT ID NCT07201376
Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive imaging device designed to help doctors tell the difference between harmless skin growths and non-melanoma skin cancers. The device uses a special light to measure oxygen levels in skin tissue, as low oxygen can be a sign of cancer. The goal is to improve diagnosis and help surgeons better define tumor borders before removal.
