New blood marker may predict Sjögren's Flare-Ups

Summary
This study looks at whether a specific type of antibody in the blood, called anti-Ro/SSA IgE, can help doctors tell if a person's Sjögren's syndrome is active. Researchers will compare the levels of this antibody in 185 people with primary Sjögren's syndrome, some with active disease and some without. The goal is to find a reliable way to monitor the disease and improve patient care.
