Can a few minutes of movement break the sitting health trap?
NCT ID NCT06427603
Summary
This study is testing whether encouraging short, frequent activity breaks throughout the day is a practical way to improve health for older adults who sit a lot. Researchers will recruit 30 smartphone users aged 65+ who sit for 6+ hours daily and are overweight. They will measure if the program is easy to follow and check for changes in blood sugar, blood pressure, strength, and physical function.
