NCT ID NCT07566091

First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study compares a new stent that releases sirolimus and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) to a standard everolimus stent in about 2,000 people with coronary artery disease who need a procedure to open blocked heart arteries. The goal is to see if the new stent is as good as the standard one at preventing heart-related problems like heart attack or the need for another procedure within one year. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two stents and will be followed for outcomes.
