Tiny stents deliver medicine to ease chronic sinus troubles
NCT ID NCT05925985
Summary
This study tested a small, dissolvable stent placed in the sinuses after surgery. The stent slowly releases a steroid medicine to help control inflammation, reduce symptoms, and improve healing in people with chronic sinusitis. Researchers followed 215 patients for up to a year to check how safe the stents were and how well they worked at easing sinus problems.
