New hope for stomach cancer: drug cocktail targets tough cases

Summary

This study tests a combination of the immunotherapy drug sintilimab and a chemotherapy regimen called FOLFIRI as a second-line treatment for people with advanced HER2-negative stomach cancer that has progressed after initial therapy. The goal is to see if this approach can delay cancer growth or improve survival. The trial plans to enroll 27 adults with good organ function and an ECOG performance status of 0-2.
