New drug combo before surgery shows promise for tough liver cancers

NCT ID NCT07324824

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study is testing whether giving two drugs (sintilimab and bevacizumab) before surgery can help prevent liver cancer from coming back in people whose cancer has spread beyond the usual Milan criteria. About 37 adults with resectable liver cancer will receive the drug combination, then have surgery. The main goal is to see how many patients remain cancer-free one year after surgery.
