First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 29, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests if transplanting healthy bacteria into the nose can reduce symptoms of chronic sinusitis, a condition where the sinuses are inflamed for more than 12 weeks. About 50 adults with chronic sinusitis will receive either a bacteria transplant or a placebo, and then switch groups. The goal is to see if this treatment improves symptoms and quality of life.
