First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study looked at whether doing two things at once (dual task) changes how muscle strength and performance are measured in people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers tested 60 adults aged 40-65 with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis. They measured leg strength, sit-to-stand ability, pain, and joint function. The goal was to see if adding a mental task during physical tests gives a better picture of real-world function.
