First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether doing exercises with one leg at a time helps people with COPD breathe easier and move better during a flare-up. Thirty adults hospitalized for a COPD attack will either do single-limb resistance training or standard care. The goal is to see if this gentler exercise improves strength, reduces shortness of breath, and is safe to use during recovery.
