One-Time radiation blast could tame prostate cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether a single, very high dose of precisely targeted radiation can safely control intermediate-risk prostate cancer. About 200 men will receive one 24 Gray dose to the whole prostate, with some getting an extra boost to the main tumor. The goal is to reduce side effects and simplify treatment while keeping the cancer in check.
