Summary
This study explores whether joining a group singing class can improve how well older adults with untreated hearing loss understand speech in noisy environments and boost their emotional well-being. Researchers will compare a 12-week singing program to an audiobook club (the control group) in 210 participants aged 60 and older. The goal is to see if singing offers unique benefits for hearing and social connection.
