NCT ID NCT07267520

First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tested whether listening to quartz crystal singing bowl music could improve mood, stress, and sleep in healthy young adults aged 16-25, compared to a standard relaxation technique called progressive muscle relaxation. Participants listened to recordings three times a week for four weeks, then weekly for another four weeks. The goal was to see if singing bowls offer a simple, accessible self-help option for mental wellbeing.
