Summary
This study tested whether using simulators helps pediatric residents learn how to do heart ultrasounds on newborns. 52 residents were split into two groups: one got simulation training plus usual lessons, the other got usual lessons only. Researchers measured their ultrasound skills at 3 and 6 months to see if simulation made a difference.
