Kidney transplant study tests easier daily pill routine
NCT ID NCT04773392
First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a simpler, once-daily medication plan (using EnvarsusXR and azathioprine) works as well as the standard twice-daily plan for preventing kidney rejection after transplant. It involved 20 adult kidney transplant patients at low risk for rejection. The study was stopped early, so results are limited.
