New cavity fighter for kids: nano-silver may stop decay without ugly stains

Summary
This study tests whether a newer treatment, Nano-Silver Fluoride, can stop cavities in baby teeth as well as the standard Silver Diamine Fluoride, but without causing black stains. Sixty children aged 3-5 with active cavities will receive one of the two treatments and be followed for a year. Researchers will check if the cavities harden (meaning they are stopped), note any tooth discoloration or pain, and ask parents how satisfied they are.
