NCT ID NCT07366645

First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether silver diamine fluoride or silver fluoride, with or without a special LED light, can stop early cavities in the back teeth of young adults. About 366 high-risk dental students will receive one of four treatments, and researchers will check if the cavities become inactive. The goal is to find a simple, affordable way to prevent cavities from getting worse without drilling.
