New gel could offer Hormone-Free relief for menopause discomfort

Summary
This study compares a new silicone gel (StrataMGT) to standard estrogen cream for treating vaginal dryness and discomfort caused by menopause. About 100 postmenopausal women will use one of the treatments for 3 months. Researchers will check if the gel works as well as estrogen cream at improving quality of life and reducing symptoms.
