First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study is testing a new blood test called Signal-C that looks for DNA fragments in the blood to find colorectal cancer and advanced precancerous growths. About 12,000 people aged 45 to 84 who are at average risk and scheduled for a routine colonoscopy will give a blood sample before their procedure. Researchers will compare the blood test results with the colonoscopy findings to see how accurate the blood test is.
