Large study aims to uncover hidden health risks of sickle cell trait

Summary
This study will follow 1,000 adults who have sickle cell trait (SCT) to learn more about how the trait affects their blood and overall health. Researchers want to see if different levels of the sickle hemoglobin cause different health issues, such as kidney problems or blood clotting. Participants will provide blood and urine samples over time, but no treatment is given.
