New injection aims to tame stubborn cholesterol
NCT ID NCT06471218
Summary
This study tested whether a new injectable drug called SHR-1918 could help lower cholesterol in people whose levels were not well controlled. Forty-four adults with high cholesterol received either the drug or a placebo injection to see if it safely reduced their 'bad' LDL cholesterol and triglycerides over six months. The goal was to find a new treatment option for managing this common heart disease risk factor.
