First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tested a new injectable drug, SHR-1918, added to standard cholesterol-lowering medications (statins) in 335 adults whose cholesterol remained high despite treatment. The main goal was to see how much it lowered 'bad' LDL cholesterol after 16 weeks. The study is complete, and results will show if this combination helps control cholesterol better than placebo.
